- Pipes and tubes may be classified on the basis of their
manufacturing process Seamless Pipes; SAW (HSAW, LSAW and ERW) and Spun
pipes (DI/CI).
- DI Pipes are used in transportation of water and sewage. The demand

- Ductile iron, also known as spheroidal graphite (SG) iron or nodular

Department, Panchayats Municipal Corporations are the bulk consumers of
RCC spun pipes.
- Most of the customers are approved civil contractors who are
executing the works of the Government Department and Public Sector
Undertakings.
