  • The current use of isoproturon is explained by the fact that it is a relatively cheap and easy-to-use herbicide.
  • An analyst from UK mentioned a use of 3,300 tons a year in the United Kingdom, which makes it the second largest pesticide used in the UK and
    an analyst from France estimated a use of more than 1,000 tons a year in France (in the top fifteen of plant protection).
